Product Ref: 165043
The Rane TWELVE MKII is a powerful DJ controller with a motorised platter, bridging the gap between vinyl and digital. The uncompromising design sets itself apart from other DJ controllers thanks to the exceptional vinyl-style platter. The 12-inch platter provides exceptional accuracy when tracking your movements, providing the same feel as analog vinyl.
The unique design unites the classic feel of an analog turntable with the digital era, ideal for transitioning between the two formats. The lack of a tonearm and needles (found on analog turntables) means you won’t have to spend time tediously replacing various parts. It also means you get the best possible audio performance as well as zero-error latency. The platter features a black acrylic control disc complete with a quick-release adapter so you can use your own records.
The improved MKII design features a plunger-style stop/start button as well as an OLED screen that displays the BPM and control selection. The dual-mode strip allows you to search tracks with ease as well as providing you with eight hot cue triggers so you can mix with the utmost control.
The motorised platter provides the utmost accuracy and precision when it comes to tracking your control disc’s movements. The high-resolution platter provides you with 3,600 ticks during a single revolution, reacting to your touch instantaneously. This makes scratching and mixing seamless, allowing you to focus on your cuts without having to worry that the platter didn’t pick up your subtle nuances.
The TWELVE MKII provides you with USB MIDI and DVS compatibility, meaning you can use the controller with a wide variety of DJ software. Whatever platform you choose, the TWELVE MKII will seamlessly integrate with your chosen program. The new OLED screen is used to control the USB MIDI or DVS connections, allowing you to use them as a hybrid or independently of each other.
Not only does it feel like a vinyl turntable, but it also looks the part. The TWELVE MKII features a solid-steel exterior. The all-metal body not only looks great but it also protects the internal components, providing exceptional durability. You can also adjust the torque of the platter to suit your needs, ideal for more traditional setups.
The RANE SEVENTY-TWO MKII is a powerful and versatile two-channel DJ mixer, designed for professional DJs. The SEVENTY-TWO MKII offers a range of features designed for performance. Included are 16 backlit Akai-style MPC performance pads (8 per channel) which offer adjustable threshold and aftertouch for remixing, mashing up tracks, and controlling loops on-the-fly. They also offer Serato control, plus special modes for Pad FX, Crossfader FX, Transport, Slicer, and video control.
Each channel features a dedicated low/high pass filter control, as well as chain-integrated Serato software effect control and dual FLEX FX engines, allowing you to control 2 effects simultaneously within Serato. The die-cast aluminium toggles allow you to control your FX in a new way, similar to using a modulation wheel on a keyboard. The mixer features a dual FX engine, allowing you to combine the internal effects with the Serato DJ effects.
Users can now experience RANE's brand-new MAG FOUR fader. This is a new patented Mag Fader design offering a unique touchless, tension-adjustable fader with perfect tactile feel and precision, combined with durability and longevity.
The SEVENTY-TWO mixer features a solid steel construction, built for non-stop, heavy-duty use. It has been designed for durability, so you can ensure the mixer always performs at its best, no matter how much you use it. Additionally, the RANE SEVENTY-TWO features steel protective roll bars that can also be used as handles for quick transport.
The 4.3-inch colour touchscreen is a new feature that not only offers a moving waveform display, but also X/Y FX control, allowing you to control your effects with precise finger movements. It also displays your tracks, allowing you to navigate through your songs and playlists quickly when performing. As well as this, the touchscreen also displays your cue points, allowing you to see when the best parts of the track are coming up.
